“The maintenance worker, Scott, was quick to notice a problem when he entered the upstairs rooms where the A/C is located. There was lots of moisture dripping from the air ducts. The A/C room was very humid, and this was causing inefficiency in the cooling system. He suggested adding an air return vent but would first discuss with the supervisor and get back with me. He took care of a serious problem of grease on the air purifier grids. He suggested that we look into getting an exhaust grease hood for the kitchen to prevent further build up on the air purifier grids. We will look into getting a vented hood to the outside. Our maintenance man was very thorough in cleaning the outside unit. He explained all that he did and gave us the confidence that he was an expert at his work and knew what he was doing. We were very pleased with his work and professional attitude.”

“they came out saturday ($125) for what i already knew what was wrong they came out and confirmed it said might be under warranty told them i didn't care just fix it we'll pay for part (txv) said they'd work up and estimate and call on monday. no call (they may have been closed for easter on monday so i took that in to account) no call tuesday. so wed. morning i went to another company with a Johnstone part number for the txv and had system up and cooling before they called me back on thursday and told they couldn't find the part but could put in a fixed metering device. Johnstone had 5 on the self when i pick up the part on will call. (that would have taken away some efficiency from the system) i don't understand having a service truck truck without parts to fix systems. (this was a very widely used part by many manufacturers on a 3 year old coil that is still produced )”

“There was a bit of a conflict with heat pump replacement. The service tech said heat pump damage was ice storm damage so warranty was voided. The insurance adjuster said it wasn't ice storm damage, it was manufacturers defect, so insurance was voided. That left me stuck in the middle and on the hook to replace a 3 1/2 year old heat pump out of pocket. Not much I could do.”
